Dr. Janet Morrow, DVM
Owner
Dr. Janet Morrow graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. From a young age, her goal was always to become a veterinarian. She gained experience working at a local small animal clinic, as well as riding and working with horses, before her acceptance to OVC.
After graduation in 2001, she worked in Kingston, Ontario, which at that time was not served by emergency veterinary clinics. Through providing after-hours emergency care for patients, she developed an interest in emergency medicine. Dr. Morrow worked at several different emergency clinics before settling at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic of York Region, where she practiced for over 12 years. During her full-time work as an emergency veterinarian, she also continued to work part time at a veterinary practice in Aurora. In 2014, Dr. Morrow decided to return to full-time general practice and has been working in the Aurora area ever since.
Dr. Morrow has strong interests in medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and behaviour. She believes that veterinary medicine needs to be tailored individually for each pet and family.
When not working, she can generally be found on her hobby farm with her menagerie of dogs, cats, horses, and chickens.
